Venue, Accommodation & Travel

The workshop will take place in the luxury five-star Hotel, CROATIA, well known as an excellent place for congress tourism.
The workshop is free of charge but participants will be required to pay their travel, accommodation and study trip expenses.

The workshop organizers will not be directly engaged in arranging accommodation for the workshop participants but will of course assist if you have any difficulties in finding accommodation.

There are lots of available hotels in Cavtat or nearby Dubrovnik and we have mentioned two of them with special prices for workshop participants.

  • Croatia Hotel, Cavtat, our workshop venue. Single use room from EUR 154.
    Double room from EUR 83 (per person).
  • Supetar Hotel, Cavtat, 10-minute walk from Croatia Hotel. Single use room from
    EUR 98. Double room from EUR 51.50 (per person).

    Traveling by air

    Dubrovnik Airport at Ćilipi
    The airport has a lot of airlines operating to destinations internationally.
    Cavtat (Dubrovnik airport) is approximately 50 minutes flying time from Zagreb and 1h 45 minutes from Frankfurt.

    Traveling to and from the airport
    The airport is served by buses and taxis. Regular bus lines go to Dubrovnik, therefore the participants are advised to use the organized free transfer from the airport to Cavtat
    (10-minute drive by car) for which is necessary to indicate in the registration form the flight number and time of the arrival.
